I stayed at Annagh House for 17 nights for a business trip. This B&B is quiet and the neighborhood is safe. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't judge that.
The rooms are not luxurious and hence the low rate.
The owners are nice and hospital.SSSSS

Warmly welcoming host who showed us to our room and suggested a nearby place to have dinner, as we had arrived quite hungry. Well provisioned room, extremely clean and quiet. Unfortunately we were given 2 single beds when we had requested a double so I think communication went wrong somewhere. Extremely good selection for breakfast with hearty and delicious cooked breakfasts.SSSSS

After a late arraving there was a warm welcome. The room was cleen and the breakfast a good start in the day. John was always there with helpful hints to make the visit in Dublin a very good experience.SSSSS

Great price - Incredibly kind and attentive owners.
Beautiful location on the water - great for a morning run!
Easy bus access into the city - about 15 - 20 min in traffic and €2.60 each way.
I made the mistake of taking a cab from the airport - waste of money unless you are traveling with several people. It's best to take the airport bus into the city and get on another bus to the hotel at Abbey Street.
For my needs, I may have been better off paying a little more and staying in the city I had very little time in Dublin, but I enjoyed my stay here!

Great stay..lovely people and fab breakfast.Although some might not like the Shared table for all residents . Close to everything. Only call out is the noise in our room was very loud ...either a boiler or heating system ...very loud. Otherwise a little gem . SSSSS

Annagh House is nicely located on the front just a short bus ride to the centre. To my surprise the Contarf Road is not full of B&B places and the road was not a traffic jam. Our room 7 in the attic was nice and quiet. The owner was very helpful in suggesting places to eat. We ate locally at a Pakistani Restaurant and at an Italian which were both good. An unexpected bonus was the Viking Theatre, upstairs in the pub along the road, with a great one-woman play.SSSSS
